3 Gold & 2 Silver in Samoa

Ulster Boxers had to settle for 3 Gold at 49kg, 56kg & 64kg. Stephen Mc Kenna, James Mc Givern and Aidan Walsh topped the podium to collect the Gold with  Tiernan Bradley 60kg  and Brett Mc Ginty 69kg claiming Silver.  Team Coaches John Conlan and Damien Kennedy are extremely pleased with the performances from all the boxers during the week.  ‘This is one of the outstanding results in the Commonwealth Youth Games for Ulster – previously in the Isle of Man the boxers claimed 3 Bronze medals.
