A total of 37 boxers weighed in across the 3 venues on Sunday.
Boxing got underway on Tuesday 1st in the Dockworkers Club at 8pm with 9 Quarter-Finals down for decision. Punters were treated to a number of excellent contests. It is good to see the emergence of many new faces into the Senior ranks. This is a good platform for boxers to move into Elite level boxing. One such emerging talent is the Holy Family G-G Commonwealth Youth Games medallist Aidan Walsh who takes on Canals Chris Armstrong in tomorrow nights Semi-Final.
The action will continue on Wednesday 2nd with the Semi-Finals and will conclude on Friday 4th with 8 Finals.
