Lets Talk Positive Mental Health with Ricky ‘The Hitman’ Hatton
Off the back of our very successful Positive Mental Health Workshops through the Belfast Boxing Strategy with some of our High Performance Athletes and Staff we are very excited to introduce our next speaker Ricky ‘ The Hitman’ Hatton.

Ricky is a former two weight world champion who has reached the very top of the sport as a professional. He has fought in some of the biggest fights in recent times and will be well known for his career in the sport.
Ricky has agreed to talk with is about his journey in the sport, the highs and the lows and how he coped with some of the lowest points in his life following certain defeats. It is well documented that Ricky struggled with depression following his defeat to Floyd Mayweather, His fall out with his former trainer and his parents. Ricky acknowledges this and has no issue discussing it, In fact his view is that if you are feeling low that it is good to talk about it with other people
We will also talk to Ricky about the importance of resilience and why it is important to stay positive through these current times. We will then open the floor for some selected questions to be asked to Ricky on the Clubs behalf.
This event will take place on Wednesday 31st March 2021 from 7:00pm – 8:00pm via Zoom.
