Ulster Boxers had to settle for 3 Gold at 49kg, 56kg & 64kg. Stephen Mc Kenna, James Mc Givern and Aidan Walsh topped the podium to collect Gold. There was Silver at 60kg for Tiernan Bradley and 69kg for Brett Mc Ginty. The coaches were well pleased with all the performances from all the boxers. ‘This is by far the most outstanding result for Ulster at a Commonwealth Youth Games, previously in the Isle of Man the boxers won 3 Bronze’.
