A Strategy for Ulster Boxing – Member Consultation
The Irish Athletic Boxing Association (Ulster Branch) are now open to member consultation on their draft ‘Strategy for Ulster Boxing, September 2018 – September 2022’.
In June 2018, members of the Ulster Boxing Council, along with Ulster staff members and representatives from each of the six County Boards came together to agree key themes and priorities for boxing in Ulster over the next 4 year period. Subsequently, the following draft strategy document has been produced.
The strategy highlights 3 key obsessions for the Ulster Boxing community over the next 4 years, and these include:
- Increased Participation & Improved Performance
- Positive Relationships & Collaborative Working, and
- Increased Investment
The strategy also sets out 6 core outcomes to be achieved in the next 4 year period. Priority areas and actions to achieve the outcomes are also discussed, as well as a set of key performance indicators which will assist us with measuring success.
The IABA (Ulster Branch) would appreciate it if you could take the time to review the draft strategy and provide any comments and/or suggestions in writing to firstname.lastname@example.org, no later than the closing date of 12 noon on Friday 5th October 2018.
